Loop to Launch · Private 1:1 intensive

Finish the track you keep coming back to.

A seven-week private production intensive where I work with you directly to take one unfinished track from idea to a properly finished, mixed and released piece of music you’re proud to share.

This isn’t another pile of tutorials. We work on your actual music, make the decisions together, and keep moving until the track is done.

What this is really for

You don’t need more information. You need help making the next decision.

If you’ve been producing for years but still have a hard drive full of loops, half-finished arrangements and tracks that never quite feel ready, Loop to Launch gives you a clear process and an experienced second pair of ears.

Over seven weeks, we work through one track together. I’ll help you decide what belongs, what doesn’t, what needs improving and when it’s time to stop tweaking and commit.

“It’s having a second experienced pair of ears to evaluate what I’m doing and give me feedback. You’ve pushed me into places I wouldn’t go to on my own. Your suggestions have gone beyond just feedback because you’ve come up with practical ideas I could try out. In some ways you’ve almost played a producer role rather than just a coach, which has been really cool. I feel like I’m not alone on this project.” Jarred · private student

The outcome

One finished track. And a process you can use again.

Properly finished

You move beyond the loop and take the track through arrangement, development, mix, master and release.

Professional-sounding

We use references, balance, EQ, space and sensible finishing decisions so the mix sounds coherent, confident and ready to share.

Real listeners

I’ll help you put a simple release and audience-building system around the finished track, focused on genuine listeners rather than forcing you into endless social content.

For many producers, that means building a direct relationship with listeners through a simple email/Substack-style approach rather than trying to become a full-time content creator.

Why 1:1 changes the process

You don’t have to work out every decision on your own.

The hardest part of finishing music usually isn’t learning another technique. It’s knowing what your track needs next.

When you’re working alone, it’s easy to spend hours fixing something that wasn’t really the problem, second-guess an arrangement that was already working, or keep polishing because you can’t tell whether the track is actually finished.

Inside Loop to Launch, I’m listening alongside you. I hear the track as it develops, understand what you’re trying to make and help you decide what matters now - and what can be left alone.

A second experienced pair of ears

Someone who can hear the track with enough distance to spot what you’ve stopped noticing.

Feedback on your music

We apply production, arrangement and mixing ideas directly to the track you actually want to release.

Faster, clearer decisions

Instead of disappearing down production rabbit holes, we work out the most useful next move and get on with it.

Help when the track gets difficult

If the arrangement isn’t working, the mix feels flat or you simply don’t know what to do next, you don’t have to solve it alone.

A standard to work towards

I’ll tell you when something needs more work - and just as importantly, when it’s good enough and it’s time to stop tweaking.

A complete experience of finishing

You take one of your own pieces of music through the full process with guidance, so you have something real to draw on next time.

You’re not buying more information. You’re getting an experienced producer involved in the decisions that determine whether your track actually gets finished.

The seven-week process

From idea to release, one clear stage at a time.

Week 1

Find the track & build the palette

Choose the right idea, define the direction and make sure the core ingredients are there.

Week 2

Strengthen the core

Get the drums, bass, hook and harmony working together without disappearing into tweak mode.

Week 3

Build the arrangement

Turn the loop into a full draft with shape, energy and a clear beginning, middle and end.

Week 4

Add movement & life

Use variation, automation, fills and subtraction to make the arrangement feel finished rather than repeated.

Week 5

Make the mix work

Use references and practical mixing decisions to get the track sounding balanced, clear and convincing.

Week 6

Finish and commit

Finalise the mix, apply a sensible mastering approach and make the decisions that get the track over the line.

Week 7

Release and start finding listeners

Put the track into the world and set up a simple way to stay connected with the people who genuinely respond to your music.

A good fit if...

You already make music. You’re just tired of not getting enough of it finished.

You have something to work on

An existing loop, sketch or unfinished track is ideal. We don’t need to start from a blank page.

You can make some studio time

You don’t need endless free hours, but you do need enough space between sessions to act on the decisions we make together.

You want honest guidance

This works best if you want a second pair of ears, clear decisions and practical feedback rather than another library of information.
